## Roles

**Editor-in-Chief**

Direction, recruitment and appeals. Can act as either kind of editor.

**Managing editors**

Run CCCURJ Flagship peer review: take applications, invite reviewers, and accept, request revisions or decline. They also approve peer reviewers.

**Preprint editors**

Check preprint submissions to the CCCURJ archive before they are announced. This is not peer review, and they take no part in journal decisions.

**Peer reviewers**

Write signed reports; [apply here](https://cccurj.org/flagship/reviewers).

**Faculty Advisory Board**

Advises but does not run the journal; no college holds a majority. [Join](https://cccurj.org/faculty#board).
