Submission overview
Start a submission Create an account first if you do not have one.
You need
- An eligible submitting author (see who can submit).
- The LaTeX source (a .tex file, or a .zip or .tar.gz with figures and bibliography) and the PDF compiled from it, each at most 30 MB. See formatting with LaTeX.
- The title, authors, an abstract of at most 1,920 characters, the artifact type and a category.
- For a dataset or software: a link to the files in a public repository, and a short PDF that describes them in place of a paper (see publishing work that is not a paper).
- Disclosures: funding, conflicts of interest, collaborations, generative AI use, and ethics approval for work with human participants.
- Every author's agreement to release the work under CC BY 4.0.
What happens next
- A preprint editor checks the submission. This is not peer review: they check scope, format, disclosures and eligibility, not whether the research is right. They may reclassify it, put it on hold with a note, or decline it with a reason.
- Accepted work gets an identifier, CCCURJ:YYMM.NNNNN, and is announced in the next listing.
- Announced work is permanent: you can replace or withdraw it, but not remove it.
For peer review, apply to CCCURJ Flagship once your work is announced. See how preprints and CCCURJ Flagship articles differ.
